INVERSIONS 101 WITH LISA BROWN
ALIGNMENT VINYASA WORKSHOP WITH AN EMPHASIS ON THE SCIENCE OF GOING UPSIDE DOWN
Tuesday, April 13, 1:30-3 PM
One of the exciting aspects of yoga is increasing our skill sets and learning to do inversions. Inversions can be fun and challenging! They can also increase our strength, focus and balance, while improving the power of our immune system. Inversions may help you feel stronger psychologically by achieving something really challenging in your yoga practice. Proper alignment training is essential to avoid injury.
In this workshop, we will address the physiological and psychological benefits of incorporating inversions into your practice by learning safe alignment principles. We will address headstand, handstand, forearm stands and possible variations or substitutions that you can implement on your own yoga inversion journey. This class is suitable for beginners and more advanced students looking to refine their practice.
