Winter Full Moon Celebration Series

The moon is a powerful source of energy and connection to the universe. In this series, we invite you to explore the magic of the winter moon as each class will focus on the theme of that month's full moon. In addition, attendees will do some light yoga stretching and enjoy a short meditation to experience a release of anything that no longer serves us. Finally, participants will set and write down intentions for the new month. There will be an opportunity for sharing at the end if anyone wishes to.



Wolf Moon

​The full moon in January is called the Wolf Moon. It is named by Native American tribes in honor of the wolves in winter. The tribes had to learn to coexist with their wolf brothers and find a balance of respect and protection. 

January’s celebration will allow us to explore these same concepts in ourselves. We will find balance by embracing things we may naturally be inclined to push away and explore new ways to communicate, not only with others but with ourselves.

Guest Alex Paulos will share a short presentation about the Wolf Moon. He is a personality expert/profiler and master at teaching people how to communicate.

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.

Bring the following:

  • Bring a yoga mat and optional blanket and/or pillow.

  • Dress comfortably (attire appropriate for some light yoga stretching).

  • Bring a journal and pen. 

    • Journals are available for 20% off available at Brick Canvas for all Full Moon Series attendees.


Amy is a lover of people, connection and living. She is a mother of nine kids, ages 9-27, and already has three grandchildren. Amy is a 500-hour RYT (registered yoga teacher), a Reiki and energy practitioner, a fascia therapist and has studied CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy). She loves the moon, sun, hiking, cooking, learning and teaching. She currently teaches several fitness classes at Brick  Canvas including Bikram Yoga and Fascia Rolling. She also teaches Drama at her local elementary school.

Amy recognizes the importance of understanding and healing all of the “bodies” that make up who we are; including physical, energetic, spiritual and mental. Amy has a passion for helping people connect, balance their energies and learn to love themselves. In the full moon celebration, participants will find just that. Each night will be made up of connection, learning, simple practices for well being of ALL of your bodies, and FUN!
