We invite you to join us on a journey into the nine

interconnected dimensions of wellness.

We often reference wellness in terms of physical and mental health. However, wellness has nine interconnected dimensions: creative, emotional, financial, physical, medical, environmental, spiritual,  intellectual, and social. Everyday activities that might not at first seem related to wellness can help us develop, thrive, succeed, enjoy life, and deal constructively with life challenges. While it's natural at different times to focus on some dimensions of wellness over others, balancing the nine dimensions in our own lives is an ongoing process. Journey with us as we explore the benefits of achieving balance in the nine dimensions as an ongoing and holistic approach to self care.

Spiritual Wellness

A Sound Bath at Brick Canvas is an experience in which gongs and sound bowls are played in a way to promote a more relaxed mind and nervous system. In a well-played sound bath, the healing power of sound will guide listeners on a journey of self-discovery and inner exploration. While promoting deep relaxation, peace, and expansion of consciousness, the sound bath helps to open the body’s entire energetic system. The combined sound of gongs and bowls effectively relaxes the mind and body and helps one feel a greater sense of overall health and wellbeing.

Emotional Wellness

“Did you spend all of January living in your unwashed sweats, crying into a bowl of ranch-flavored kale chips and stalking your ex on Facebook? Well, who could blame you? 2020 was tougher than elephant skin, and many of us are feeling the emotional effects. Maybe the unrest of the past year has left you mistrusting yourself, the world, and your own power. But who wants to spend time there? Instead, hang out with me for a bit and tune into a world of emotional resilience. A place you can explore tools that fortify your emotional body and heart.” -Abigail Atkinson

Financial Wellness

Financial wellness can have an impact on mental and physical health. The stress of living paycheck to paycheck, mounting debt, and financial insecurity can wreak havoc on our minds, bodies, and personal relationships. In this class, we'll learn about the "B" word. Budgeting. While some may feel budgeting is a straitjacket, a budget acts as a guard rail that gives you permission to spend and can lead to financial well being.
