Juice cleansing is a great way to boost your nutrition, reset your system, and gently eliminate toxins from your diet. In addition to giving your digestive system a chance to rest and heal, juice cleansing supplies your body with all of the nutrition it needs: living enzymes, vitamins, minerals, carbs, proteins, and water. In other words, your body can cleanse while continuing to function properly.
What’s Included in a Juice Cleanse?
Our one-day juice cleanse includes six 16-ounce juices that should be consumed every 2-3 hours. The juices are numbered 1-6, as a guide for you. During the day, you will drink them in that order. Juice Cleanse includes a 2-ounce juice shots to help boost your immunity, energy, or digestion. Depending on your level of experience, a cleanse can last just one day or as long as three days.

Preparing For a Juice Cleanse
To get the most out of your cleanse, preparation is essential! By making a few simple alterations during the three days leading up to your cleanse, you will set yourself up for success. You will want to ease into your cleanse by eliminating (or at least minimizing) gluten, dairy, alcohol, red meat, and processed foods. This will make the transition less shocking to your body. Other ways to prepare yourself mentally and physically for a juice cleanse are:
Setting your intentions/reason for a cleanse
Hydrating - Drink a minimum of 64oz of water per day
Eating fresh fruits, vegetables, and gluten-free whole grains
Supplementing your diet with fatty acids such as flax seeds, eggs, and nuts
During Your CleanseHere are some things to keep in mind and incorporate into your diet and daily routine during your cleanse:
Keep hydrated all day!
Add cinnamon to increase energy.
Drink kombucha or apple cider vinegar shots to aid digestion.
Add cayenne pepper to curb your appetite and aid digestion.
Drink herbal tea between juices or at the end of the day.
Take a daily probiotic to help your body stay balanced.
Exfoliate your skin by dry brushing or doing a Vichy treatment to help open up the pores and release toxins.
Meditate in a sauna or do hot yoga. Sweating excessively helps increase the release of toxins, and meditation will help you connect with your intentions.
Exercise (walk, Vinyasa yoga, Bikram yoga) to stimulate the lymphatic system and increase detox (but don’t overdo it!).
Soak in a hot bath with Epsom Salt.
Consider a massage or reflexology treatment.
If you’re hungry
It may be from thirst. Try drinking a big glass of water.
It may be the desire to chew. Try eating some fresh veggies such as cucumber slices.
You may be bored. Try going for a walk.
If none of the above helps and you’re still hungry, eat an avocado topped with a squeeze of lime and a dash of cayenne pepper.
Feeling uncomfortable? Don’t worry! Your body is adjusting to the clean nutrients you’re putting into it, and it’s simultaneously ridding itself of all the junk you don’t need. A lot is going on, and sometimes that can feel a little overwhelming.
The more gently you re-introduce foods into your diet, the better off you’ll be. Break your cleanse with small meals that incorporate solids and liquids such as smoothies and soups.
