Have you been suffering from extremely dry skin? This is pretty common, and can usually be caused by a number of reasons. Weather changes, UV damage, stress, hormonal imbalances, and aging can influence your overall health and the hydration of your skin.
When your skin is dry and dehydrated, it may feel uncomfortably tight, irritated, and even flaky. It’s important to always consider what’s in the products you are using. Moisturizing and hydrating is best when using products with real, vitamin-rich ingredients. Using organic products that contain naturally-occuring vitamins and minerals give better results than products filled with chemicals that clog your pores and leave your skin in the same dry condition.
We want to share some of our favorite natural and hydrating products, and also some great ways to use them.
Apricot Body Oil
This luxurious body oil not only smells amazing, but it’s also ultra-hydrating and rejuvenating. With a blend of fragrant fruits, grapeseed oil, and jojoba oil, your skin will be left feeling lush and glowing.
Stone Crop Body Oil
Soothe and soften dry skin with this lightweight body oil that absorbs quickly, brightens, and leaves a matte satin finish. This antioxidant-rich oil is filled with a combination of stone crop, arnica, rosehip, and avocado oil, which will help to replenish and calm your skin.
How to add these products into your skincare routine:
Use as an everyday moisturizer
Dispense an appropriate amount of oil (a little goes a long way!) and apply to cleansed skin.
Give your body lotion an extra boost
Mix one to three drops of either oil into your favorite body lotion for an extra boost of vitamins and hydration.
Relieve stress with an aromatic bath
Add one to two capfuls to a warm bath for an all-over skin conditioning treatment. Not only will this leave your skin feeling really hydrated, but you will also benefit from the aromas it provides.
Condition Dry Hair
Luckily, these oils aren’t just safe and beneficial for your skin; they can also be used on your hair! If you suffer from dry and damaged hair, these oils are perfect to use as an intensive hair conditioner. Add a few drops of oil to your hands and apply throughout, all the way to the ends of your hair.
We hope these multipurpose products will help you say goodbye to dry skin and hair, giving you the boost of hydration that you need.
