ABOUT TAICHI

TaiChi is a series of gentle physical exercises and stretches. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion.

Join us for a TaiChi Workshop and experience an energizing combination of movement with instructor Ling Xin.

TaiChi is an ancient Chinese tradition that is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner, accompanied by deep breathing and focusing on the 5 elements (water, wood, fire, earth, and metal) of Chinese and Taoist medicine. We will break down a few TaiChi poses and concepts related to the element and its energetic channels.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, we not only have a physical body, we also have an energetic body. This subtle body is made up of meridians or nadis. The meridians comprise an invisible web-like structure that connects all organs and transmits Qi, Prana, blood, and essential information.
