Class Description

In this class, we will begin with a brief lecture on the benefits of Yoga Nidra, followed by full instruction on how to set yourself up in three restorative poses. These poses are specifically chosen to help relax your body, release tension and prepare you for the Yoga Nidra meditation. We will spend 10-15 minutes in the first and second restorative poses, allowing you to fully sink into the relaxation process. In the final pose, you will be guided through a Yoga Nidra, also known as "yogic sleep," where you will enter a very deep meditative state. During the Yoga Nidra meditation, our experienced instructor Lisa Brown will guide you through a series of visualizations and breathwork to help you relax your body and mind. This practice will allow you to access your subconscious mind and release any negative thought patterns or emotions that may be holding you back in your daily life. This class is suitable for all levels of practitioners, including those who are new to yoga and meditation. The practice of Yoga Nidra requires no physical exertion and can be done lying down, making it accessible to individuals of all ages and abilities. By the end of this class, you will leave feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and equipped with tools to help you manage stress and improve your overall well-being. Cancellation Policy

NEW Late Cancel & No Show Policy Please note that our NEW Late Cancel & No Show Policy will apply to all fitness classes: You must CANCEL your class at least 6 hours before your class starts to avoid a fee. Classes canceled within 6 hours will be charged a LATE CANCEL fee of $15. A missed class will be charged a NO SHOW fee of $20, this includes late cancellations within one hour. Need help?
